StarDodge — Neon Evader is a free, browser-based arcade game. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains clearly what data is handled, how it is stored, and your rights as a user. The short version: we collect nothing personal. Everything stays on your device.
We do not collect, process, or transmit any of the following:
No account, registration, or login is required or possible. The game is entirely anonymous by design.
The only browser storage the game uses is localStorage to save your best score under the key sd_best. This data:
This game is 100% free. There are no in-app purchases, no virtual currencies, no loot boxes, no paid upgrades, and no gambling mechanics of any kind. Scores have zero real-world monetary value.
Our web hosting provider may retain standard server access logs (such as timestamps and approximate geographic region) for operational security and abuse prevention. These logs are not linked to individuals, are not used for profiling, and are purged on a rolling schedule. We have no access to personal details within them.
We use Google Fonts to load the Orbitron and Rajdhani typefaces. Google may collect anonymised metrics related to font delivery as part of their standard CDN operation. No other third-party analytics, advertising networks, social logins, or tracking pixels are integrated into this game.
We do not set, read, or rely on any cookies — session, persistent, or otherwise. The only browser storage used is localStorage for the high score, as described in section 3.
Because we collect no personal information from anyone, there is no special risk for younger users. We do not knowingly build any data profile for any user of any age. The game complies with the spirit of COPPA, GDPR-K, and equivalent frameworks globally.
Since no personal data is collected or stored on our servers, there is no personal data at risk of a breach on our end. Your locally stored high score is protected by your own device's security model.
You may clear your local high score data at any time via your browser's site-data settings. As we hold no personal data server-side, there is nothing to request access to, correction of, or erasure of beyond your own local storage.
If our privacy practices change materially, we will update this page and revise the effective date. Continued use of the game after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
